The Beach

With bright sand and calm waters, this beach has been flying the Blue Flag since 2017. It’s in the centre of the Cala de Mijas beachfront promenade -the Senda Litoral de Mijas

La Cala beach is also considered child friendly and a very safe environment for all ages, family, singles, couples and elderly.

Chiringuitos

You find plenty of chiringuitos offering sun beds and massage services along the beach.

There is plenty of recreational activities, water sports, golf, horse riding nearby.

You will find plenty of playground and parks.

Cultural

A day trip to the beautiful Mijas Pueblo - a beautiful white washed village on the hill top is a must.

A bus service runs every 15 minutes which can take you to Fuengirola or Marbella from Cala de Mijas.

Old Towns

The historic city center is usually the most interesting and beautiful place to go in a city.

It offers a surprising and fun place with Andalusian flavor.

The La Cala old town is about 10 minutes walk from our accomodation.

Street Markets

A bustling market where you can find almost eveyrthing from jewellery, handbags, flowers, shoes, traditional crockery & pots and even antiques.
Many cafes are open to enjoy a coffee or even lunch in the sunshine with the bustling surroundings.

Shopping

For serious shoppers you can find the most renowned international names in the boutiques along Puerto Banus Marina. You’ll find the latest collections from the most exclusive designers..

Culinaries

Food is an important part of southern Spain - indeed.

A key part of Andalucian life is eating out.

Going out of tapas is the preferred way to spend a golden evening with friends and families.

If you're at the beach, head to your nearest chiringuito - beach-side restaurant.
